Praying for the Innocence of Children

Jesus says that “whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matt. 18:6 ESV).

These are serious words, but we now live in a culture that does not take the protection of children seriously. Pornography exposure, harmful media messages, and sexual acting-out are common among our youth. Worse, the institutions of the family and the Church seem unsure how to meet these challenges.

In our August prayer call, we explore the threats to children today with three special guests, child safety expert Donna Rice Hughes of Enough is Enough, author and educator Laura Gallier, and licensed marriage and family therapist Geremy Keeton of Focus on the Family.

Be sure to checkout the resources after you listen in on these wonderful prayers.
